While Clear Plex 2.8% is often my starting point for introducing benzoyl peroxide, the 5% strength is reserved for clients who need additional acne-fighting power while still maintaining a healthy skin barrier through proper guidance and acclimation.

Apply a thin layer to acne-prone areas as directed by your esthetician.
Start slowly and increase frequency as tolerated. Follow with a hydrating, barrier-supportive moisturizer.
Always wear SPF during the day.
Avoid contact with hair, towels, pillowcases, and colored fabrics, as benzoyl peroxide may cause bleaching.
